How Grantary works, in writing.

The words of the film on the homepage, in order. The film carries them as captions in the picture.

0:00 1. One fact, typed three times
One registration number. Typed into a funder portal. Re-typed into a spreadsheet. Saved again as a PDF. The organisations may stay connected. The information rarely does. The solution: Grantary. One record. Both sides.
0:21 2. Run the programme
Funders design a programme once: budget, award range, who can apply, how it's scored. Grantary even warns you when a form asks small charities for more work than the grant is worth. Applications arrive through one link, already checked against your rules and the official registers. Run a short first round, and only invite the ones that fit.
0:44 3. Apply without re-typing
On the other side, a charity tells Grantary about itself once. Its passport is checked every day against the Charity Commission, OSCR, Northern Ireland's regulator and Companies House, and it fills in every application they make. They see a funder's giving history before they write, and can get a first draft built only from facts they've already recorded.
1:07 4. Assess and award
Then people decide. Never an algorithm. Assessors declare any conflict, score against your published criteria and keep their reasons. Every applicant can hear how to come back stronger. And one click turns the award into a live grant.
1:25 5. Upload the requirements
Funded somewhere else too? Upload the award letter. Grantary reads the requirements and sets up the whole grant: conditions, milestones, reporting dates and payments. Nothing typed in.
1:40 6. Deliver, evidence and spend
Delivery is logged on the day. Snap the attendance sheet on your phone and it's on the grant. One file can prove a milestone, a condition, a report and an outcome at once, and it's locked the moment it lands. Spending is checked against the budget as it's recorded, and both sides see what's due and what's arrived. Grantary keeps the record of the money. It never holds or moves it.
2:07 7. Change, risk and questions
When plans change, the grantee asks, the funder decides in writing, and the plan updates. Risks and questions live with the grant, not in an inbox.
2:20 8. Report and get paid
When the interim report is due, it's already written: the sessions, the spend and the evidence, drawn from the record. The funder accepts, and the next payment is released.
2:35 9. Report on impact
Impact is told honestly: every result shows how it was measured, and how sure you can be. Funders see the whole programme at a glance, and their 360Giving file is ready to publish.
2:48 10. Trust and audit
Every action is written to a history nobody can rewrite. The whole grant downloads as one audit pack an auditor can check without an account. And you can ask your own AI assistant what's due this month, answered from your record. Grantary. One grant. One record. Both sides.
